Tommy began chasing his other classmates during his elementary class’s recess, but he could catch up to no one. His best friend walked over near him and bent over on his knees to catch his breath.
“Jared, let me touch you!” Tommy whined.
“No way! I don’t want the cooties,” Jared rose upright, getting ready to run again.
“Come on! I need help! I can’t catch them all by myself,” Tommy huffed and puffed. “Please! Be on my team!”
“Okay, I guess … touch me,” Jared agreed. Tommy touched him with a grin.
“I’ll take the left, you take the right,” Jared commanded.
